My water heater had a leak for the 2nd time. Initially was communicating with another company (by text) to set an appointment and was going to be charged $800 for replacement and warranty processing. Instead, we ended up using UP2code who charged us $550. Customer Service was outstanding. The company responded to my message promptly and had our water replaced the next day by Josh (friendly, excellent service, on time). This company saved me money and provided professional service. I can not respect a company more when they provide honest and quality service. Will be using this company for future plumbing or water heater issues.

Jeff was very efficient and solved the problem with our water heater right away. I'm a bit overdue for this review! We recently sold our place and upon inspection they found a leak in our tub faucet. I was given a recommendation by our handyman and called these guys up. A week later, we had our appointment and everything went smoothly. Joe needed to shut off the water for 10-15 minutes, however, we live in a condo with 3 other attached homes. Joe was thoughtful of our neighbors and went to their doors to check to see if they were okay with the water being shut off for a bit. Either they were not there or they okay'd the shut off and Joe did his thing and was all done as quick as possible. Over the phone Krista had given me the minimum cost before our appointment, and the final bill ended up not much over that, and included a replaced part. I told her I had called our water heater manufacturer and that they provided Up2Code as one of the local companies that they had worked with and that they provided a parts authorization number in case a warranted part needed to be replaced. She was upfront with the labor fees for weekdays vs weekend days. Kyle arrived within the promised time slot and was very friendly. I have had the unfortunate opportunity to have had two separate plumbing problems in the past year, but fortunately for me Up2Code limited the damage and delivered on their word of being a competent, thorough, efficient, professional, accountable company. Both times that I have used Up2Code an employee actually personally answered the call for service (rare these days), assessed my needs, and set an appointment immediately. The first time I used them, they were running a little late that day, but were professional enough to call a half hour before the appointment to let me know they would be about 15-30 minutes late (and apologized for it), the second time I used them they were 5 minutes early for our appointment (professional accountability is HUGE in customer service, considering the 4 hour windows other companies hold you hostage with). On both occasions the problem was assessed and corrected on the first visit, one of which was surprising because the materials were extremely old (and rare) but they had already stocked the work truck with three versions of the part they anticipated needing to be sure that they would not need to waste a trip (or my time and money) having to leave the job to get it. They also took some time assessing one of the problems I was having (sewer back-up) to see if the back-up was beyond the responsibility of me (the homeowner) to see if the City was responsible depending on the location of the back up (which would have lost them business, but saved me a lot of money). Finally, the last thing to mention is price. Although not "cheap," I did not find their pricing unfair. The service was great, work timely and quality, and the price fair. I will continue to use Up2Code plumbing (hopefully not for a while) for any future problems, and I highly recommend them to any of my friends, family, and fellow Yelper's!

After dealing with a leaking master bathroom sink for over a year, which my dad and husband could not get to stop, I decided to call in the professionals. Of course I turned to yelp, because I did not want to have to pay an arm and a leg and I wanted good service. I called Up2code and Mike called me back within the day. We setup an appointment and he arrived right on time. He wasn't even in my house 15 minutes before he had a diagnosis and a fix. The entire drain needed to be replaced and while I wanted it done, I was a little worried how much it would cost. Mike replaced the drain and was done in about 45 minutes. Total cost was under $130! I had only droplets of running water in the kitchen faucet and low pressure in the upstairs bathroom, all pointing to some kind of blockage. After calling various companies and getting some outrageous hourly quotes (as well some "free estimates" which later seemed to point to outrageous bills!), I spoke to Mike. He got me an appointment on the same day which was a lifesaver! He called ahead to let me know he was on his way , as per my request, and showed up on time. He was very courteous, professional and answered all my plumbing maintenance questions. Even though the issue wasn't in the entire house, he made sure to check the overall pressure but noticed it was on the higher end, which was good. The problem turned out to be debris- related and fairly easy to fix, thank God. Mike has all the good energy and intention that comes with owning and loving your own business. He is available, and cares about his work. I have a big dental practice, that has endless water pipes running through the ceiling to the rooms. Inevitably one of those pipes springs a leak and Mike has saved us more than once.
